Care Provider Requirements
We value our caregivers and you will too. The Caregiver is the core of your family member’s at-home care experience. It is very important to OCSS that the caregiver we provide to the client will fit in with the client’s needs.
OCSS Caregivers meet standards required by the state of Texas.
OCSS case manager has a 20-year experience in hiring staff. The hiring Process for OCSS will be a phone interview and from there make a decision on whether the potential caregiver will be invited for a face to face interview.
OCSS continuing hiring process:
- Criminal Background Checks – updated yearly;
- Nurse Aide Registry/Employee Misconduct Registry(NAR/EMR) - updated yearly;
- Bonded, Insured and Covered by Workers Compensation;
- Each caregiver entering our clients home will be bonded and insured to protect them against loss as well as covered by workers’ compensation should they get injured on the job

We provide professional personal care attendants to assist seniors with activities of daily living so they can remain in the comfort of their own homes.

The Caregiver is the core of your family member’s at-home care experience. That’s why OCSS's Caregivers meet standards that are unmatched in our industry.
- We carefully pair every elderly client with the most suitable Caregiver.
- We provide all our Caregivers with ongoing education and training videos that help them understand the changes that can occur with the care.
- OCSS's Caregiver is supervised by a Certified Senior Care Manager.
- OCSS's Caregiver will have an average of 7 years in caregiving experience.
With care in our hearts, we will select the most appropriate caregiver to match the client’s service needs. We will try to make the commuting for the caregivers as minimal as possible between caregiver and client. Although we try our best to match a caregiver with our client, we also understand that the client may not be satisfied. At this time, we will be happy to make any changes necessary.
