Who are we?
We are Jesse & Norma Hernandez, owners of Our Care Senior Solutions (OCSS)
We are a privately owned business located in Houston, Texas. Our committment is to provide the best care, quality of service, as well as caring and dependable care providers. We will bring you peace of mind through our care!
We have both grown up with close family ties and we know firsthand the impact that caring for an aging relative can have on families. We have experienced the difficulty in seeing them lose their independece while family members struggle to balance their careers and honor the desire of their loved one's wishes to stay in the comfort of their home. We both spent some time doing research on options available to us for respite care, caregiving, care homes, etc. We attended caregiving seminars, and signed up as volunteers doing respite care with Alzheminers/Dementia seniors. Please view Our Local Community to learn about this wonderful program called "The Gathering Place" where we volunteer.
During our research we also learned about the VA program called Aid & Attendance. This program can help a veteran/spouse for up to 80 hours of free care. For more information on this program please visit our Veterans Program page or feel free to contact us.
After all this research and with lots of care in our hearts we learned that caring for seniors in their own homes or place of residence is what we needed to do.
